In 2024 Netzero Brands consulted on behalf of blue-chip FMCG brands and major IT and Technology corporates, providing project management support and creative services for our partners.

In October we attended Synthfest at the – Octagon Theatre, University of Sheffield, accompanied by academics, hobbyists, entrepreneurs, SME’s, social enterprises and LLC charity’s. The event hosted by Sound on Sound Magazine featured headlining exhibitions from its sponsors; Roland UK, Yamaha Professional Audio, and Korg UK & Ireland. Netzero Brands supported the exhibition and seminars in attendance with Timothy Martens of Sony Music Entertainment.

Networking at the event, we were met by entrepreneurs and innovators, developing objective based products and services pioneering product design and sound innovation. It was here we met the team at Electronic Sound Magazine and the – CEO of FreeStyleAcademy – a LLC Charity providing music workshops and enrichment to under-invested communities in Grimsby, UK. Free Style Academy provides innovative and immersive music workshops and 1:1 Tuition for children and young adults in the North East, providing a pathway for young adults to foster creative skills and enabling a gateway for a career in music. As-well as being introduced to an array of product innovators and academics, throughout the day we attended a variety of workshops and seminars, embracing 65 years of analog and digital technology.

Attending the Seminar presented by Ben Wilson DivKid Lung Filler Records we also joined an exclusive after-show Q&A session talking us through a modular synthesiser “voice” and how to expand that voice by patching in new layers from existing modules and articulating new rhythms. Sharing many synergies across the creative sector, the creative and analog process highlights the importance of autonomy, communication, adaptability and the freedom to conceptualise and develop ideas. Which got us thinking… in the modern age of AI and digital technology, will analog creatives, independent thinkers and project leaders continue to produce the purpose lead projects of the future? We believe so.
